- Yamaha MT-15 could soon get bluetooth connectivity with a little increase in price
- Last year in April, there were reports about the addition of dual-channel ABS on the MT-15
Yamaha is planning to update the MT-15 bike with host of new features. Last year, there were reports about the dual-channel ABS and now it’s about bluetooth connectivity. According to Zigwheels, Yamaha may soon offer bluetooth connectivity on the MT-15 bike. A new leaked approval document suggests so. Previously, the approval document of dual-channel ABS on the MT-15 has also been surfaced. So Yamaha may offer both the features in one go.
Yamaha MT-15 Bluetooth
The bluetooth connectivity on the MT-15 could be same as of the R15 V4 bike. So the bike should get the new instrument console from the R15 V4 too. As the R15 V4 received an update of USD forks, Yamaha may also offer it on the updated MT-15 bike. Rest of the features will be the same as of the current model. The MT-15 gets 155cc single-cylinder engine that packs 18.5 PS and 13.7 Nm.
It is obvious that with the addition of new features the bike price will increase. Currently, the Yamaha MT-15 starts at Rs 1.46 lakh and goes upto Rs 1.51 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated Yamaha MT-15 could cost around Rs 5,000 more.
