Volkswagen India has commenced the deliveries of the Tiguan facelift SUV. The Tiguan facelift made it’s way to India in December last year carrying a price tag of Rs 31.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This price is for the sole Elegance variant on the SUV which is available in petrol engine. With a facelift update Volkswagen has given the Tiguan a newly designed 18-inch wheels with LED matrix lights.
Volkswagen Tiguan Facelift
The Tiguan SUV got major styling updates as a part of the facelift. This includes a slightly new radiator grille, LED light setup and more sharp front and rear bumpers. The interior of the SUV gets 30 shades ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof and three-zone climate control. Volkswagen has also given flat-bottom steering wheel on the SUV. The Tiguan facelift gets a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support.
When it comes to engine, The Tiguan facelift is powered by 2.0-Litre turbo TSI petrol engine. This engine churns out 187 bhp and 320 Nm. Volkswagen is offering seven-speed DSG gearbox with all-wheel drive (AWD) system on the SUV. The Tiguan facelift rivals the Jeep Compass, Hyundai Tucson and Citroen
