Last year, Maruti launched the new Celerio and Mahindra launched the new XUV700. Both products were very successful. Same goes for Skoda too as the company launched the Kushaq. So let’s see what these brands have in their bag for 2022.

2022 Mahindra Scorpio

After launching the XUV700, Mahindra is all set to launch the new Scorpio SUV. The new Scorpio will get first major update since 2002. There’s already a lot more hype regarding the SUV. Completely new exterior design and updated ladder-frame chassis will be used in 2022 Scorpio. Apart from the new features and looks the new Scorpio will get powerful engine as well.

2022 Maruti Baleno

Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch three models this year. All new 2022 Baleno premium hatchback is one of them. 2022 Maruti Baleno will get new exterior and come with host of new features. This will help Maruti to boost the sales of the Baleno. It is already the best selling car in its segment.

2022 Maruti Alto

The most cheapest car from Maruti, the Alto will also get an update this year. 2022 Alto has been spied numerous times. As compared to current model the new Alto will grow in dimensions. Suzuki launched the 2022 Alto in Japan last year. So considering this the India launch of the new Alto should be imminent.

Renault Triber Turbo

The Renault Triber will get 1.0-Litre turbo-petrol engine this year. This engine will pack 100 PS which is much needed as the Triber is a 7-seater car. Renault Triber will get turbo-petrol engine which powers the Magnite and Kiger. The launch of the Triber Turbo was postponed for 2022.

Skoda Slavia

After launching the Kushaq compact SUV, Skoda is all set to introduce the Slavia in the market. Launch will take place in March month. The new Skoda Slavia will rival the Maruti Ciaz and Honda City in the mid-size sedan segment.

Citroen C3

Currently, Citroen has only one offering the C5 Aircross in the Indian market. The French automaker is planning to introduce C3 micro SUV. This will be Citroen’s first car for the masses. Upon launch, the Citroen C3 will rival Tata Punch, Nissan Magnite as well as Maruti Ignis.

2022 Maruti Brezza

In compact SUV segment, the Brezza is the undisputed leader since long time. As the design of the SUV is outdated, Maruti has planned to give an update to the Brezza. The exterior as well as interior of the SUV will get lot of changes. The feature of sunroof will also be available in 2022 Brezza compact SUV.

2022 Hyundai Creta Facelift

Hyundai unveiled the Creta facelift overseas last year. As compared to current model it gets completely new front look inspired by 2022 Tucson SUV. 2022 Creta facelift gets full LED lights and DRLs with grille integrated into it. There are no major changes in the interior lf the SUV.

Jeep Meridian

The 7-seater version of the Compass, Jeep Meridian will also be launched this year. The Jeep Meridian takes inspiration from the more expensive Grand Cherokee SUV as well as Jeep Compass. After launch, it will rival Tata Safari and Hyundai Alcazar in its segment. The price of the Jeep Meridian is expected to be on expensive side.

Volkswagen Virtus

After the launch of the Skoda Slavia, the new mid-size sedan Volkswagen Virtus is also in the pipeline. It is based on the same platform as of the Slavia. So the engine specs also will be the same. The Volkswagen Virtus is already on sale in international markets.

Kia Carens

The fourth product from Kia in India is the Carens MPV. Kia unveiled the Carens last year. This new MPV will rival Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector and other similarly priced models in its segment. After Seltos and Sonet, the Carens is the next big launch from Kia in India.

Tata Altroz Automatic

Tata Motors may give Altroz an automatic gearbox variant this year. The Altroz is only available in 5-speed manual gearbox while the Baleno and i20 offers more gearbox options. In the premium hatchback segment, the Altroz is the second best selling car after the Maruti Baleno.
