Ultraviolette F77 Electric Bike Teased Ahead Of Launch

TVS Motor Company backed Ultraviolette Automotive is ready for its debut. The company’s first product will be the F77 electric bike. The Ultraviolette F77 will launch in first half of this year. Ahead of launch, the company has dropped the teaser video of the F77 electric bike. Take a look at the teaser below.

Ultraviolette F77 Electric Bike

The Ultraviolette F77 will be India’s first performance electric bike. It is powered by an electric motor that packs 33.5 BHP of power. But what’s most interesting is the bike gets 450 Nm of torque. This can make the F77 to go from 0-60 km/h in just 3.0 seconds. The bike can also achieve a top speed of 147 km/h.

When it comes to range, the Ultraviolette F77 is said to have a range of 150 kms. The battery of the bike is placed where engine would be placed in a conventional bike. This will help in optimal weight distribution and hence the performance of the F77 electric bike. The total battery capacity of the bike stands at 4.2 kWh. In 5 hours it can be charged to full. A fast charger can fully charge the battery in just 1.5 hours.

As the Ultraviolette F77 is an performance electric bike, it gets 320 mm front and 230 mm rear disc brakes. Ultraviolette will also offer inverted forks and rear monoshock on the F77. The bike rides on 17-inch wheels.

The teaser video of the F77 shows full LED lights and TFT cluster with 3 riding modes. Release of the teaser video shows that the bike launch is imminent. The bike is expected to launch in March. Ultraviolette Automotive is all set to begin the production of the F77 electric bike. The bike’s equipment will be locally manufactured including the battery pack.
