TVS iQube Sales Up By 1989% In December 2021

TVS iQube electric scooter managed to stay ahead of the Bajaj Chetak with 1,212 models sold in December 2021

In January 2020, TVS launched the iQube electric scooter in the market. The sales of the scooter were not impressive but it is more than the rival Bajaj Chetak. In most months the iQube managed to stay ahead of the Chetak electric scooter. Now in December 2021, the iQube registered a massive growth of 1989 percent. TVS sold 1,212 models of the iQube electric scooter in December 2021 which is good as compared to just 52 models in December 2020. TVS is working on new electric products but right now the iQube is only electric vehicle in its portfolio.

The iQube gets a very retro design language and looks distinctive. TVS offers 4.4 kW battery on the iQube that gives a range of 75 kms on a single charge. Top speed of the iQube stands at 78 km/h. It takes 4.2 seconds to go from 0-100 km/h. The iQube is available only in white colour variant. LED headlamps as well as LED taillamps adds to the visual appeal on the scooter. Features such as TFT cluster and dedicated app provides all necessary information to the rider. The dedicated app on the iQube offers call/SMS alert, navigation, battery status as well as geofencing. While there are lot of rivals in the market, the iQube mainly competes with the Bajaj Chetak. Electric scooters like the Ather 450X and Ola S1 are also the potential rivals of the iQube.
