Suzuki Motorcycle India Rolls Out Its 6 Millionth Two-Wheeler

Suzuki has achieved 6 million production milestone on the occasion of completion of 15 years of the brand in the country

Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL) is a two-wheeler subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation in Japan. The SMIPL has achieved a production milestone of 6 million two-wheelers in India. The Suzuki Avenis has become the 6 millionth two-wheeler in the country. Suzuki Motorcycle India has its manufacturing facility at Kherki Dhaula, Gurugram. This facility is responsible for the production of all Suzuki two-wheelers in the country. This includes the Access 125, Gixxer series as well as Burgman. The recently launched Avenis 125 also takes shape here.

The subsidiary Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL) started its India operation in February 2006. Now the company has completed 15 years in the country. On the occasion of completion of 15 years the company has achieved remarkable 6 million production.

Suzuki Avenis 125

As the Avenis 125 has marked the 6 millionth production this scooter is very special. Suzuki launched the Avenis 125 in November last year. The Avenis 125 gets an advanced sporty styling. It gets features such as LED headlamp and taillamp. Suzuki also offers Bluetooth enabled digital console coupled with the Suzuki Ride Connect Application on the Avenis 125. It gets a 125cc engine that packs 8.7PS and 10Nm. This same engine powers the other 125cc scooters such as Access 125 and Burgman 125.
