Royal Enfield Meteor Rival Bajaj Triumph Bike Spied

New Bajaj Triumph 350cc bike will launch in 2023 and will rival the Royal Enfield, Yezdi & Honda’s 350cc products

  • Bajaj and Triumph partnered few years back to take fight against the Royal Enfield 350cc motorcycles
  • The partnership is in full swing as the first Bajaj Triumph bike has made it spy shots debut

Bajaj Auto launched the Dominar 400 bike in 2016 to eat into the sales of Royal Enfield. But company failed to do so as Royal Enfield maintained its sales lead in 350-400cc segment. So to tackle this Bajaj entered into a partnership with the Triumph. In January 2021 Bajaj made an official announcement regarding the partnership. Now the first Bajaj Triumph bike has made its spy shots debut. This indicates that Bajaj Triumph partnership is going on in full swing. This new bike will rival the Meteor 350 and gets a classic look as well.

Bajaj Triumph Bike

By looking at the latest images, it’s clear that bike will get classic design language. The design looks inspired from the Triumph Street Twins. A 350-500cc engine will power the new Bajaj Triumph bike. Bajaj may offer the standard model with 17-inch wheels and 19/17-inch wheels on the scrambler model. A USD forks and radial front callipers was available on the test model. What’s more interesting here is the availability of LED lights and TFT dash feature. The Bajaj Triumph isn’t exactly a cruiser but gets a neo-retro design language. Dual-barrel exhaust and a narrow tail lamp also indicates the same.

Bajaj Triumph Bike Launch

The new Bajaj Triumph will make it’s way in 2023. It will be sold in India as well as international markets. Bajaj will manufacture it in Pune plant. It will carry the brand name of Triumph and not a Bajaj. By the end of 2022, Bajaj Triumph will finish the development of their new 350-500cc bike. Upon launch, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 will be its biggest rival.

The market of 350-500cc has grown considerably. In 2022, Yezdi entered in this segment with three new products namely an Adventure, Roadster and Scrambler. The Honda CB350 also lies in the same segment. So the new Bajaj Triumph product will have to face the heat of these bikes. It is expected to get a price tag of Rs 2.5 lakh to 3.0 lakh (ex-showroom).
