Royal Enfield Classic 350 Recalled Over Braking Issue

Royal Enfield has recalled 25,300 models of Classic 350 that were manufactured between 1st Sept 2021 & 5th Dec 2021

Royal Enfield has recalled 26,300 models of Classic 350 bike over braking issue. The models made between 1st September 2021 and 5th December 2021 were affected. Classic 350 is the best selling bike of Royal Enfield and it is the only affected model in recent recall.

Technical team has discovered potential issue in brake reaction bracket that is attached to swing arm of the bike. In 2021 Classic 350 single-channel ABS and rear drum brake Classic 350 bikes, this part has been used.

In specific riding conditions, higher braking load on rear brake could lead to potential damage to reaction bracket. Unusual braking noise and reduced braking efficiency can also happen in extreme conditions. Other models of Royal Enfield are not affected by this issue and are not affected by latest recall.

Affected Owners Of Classic 350 Recall

In coming days, Royal Enfield and their dealers will contact to owners of the affected motorcycles as a part of recall. Owners will have to bring their bikes to dealership where faulty parts will be replaced. Royal Enfield Classic 350 owners can also check if their bike is affected by calling RE customer care or with local dealers.

Classic 350 is the best selling bike from Royal Enfield. Recently new Classic 350 has crossed the production milestone of 1 lakh models. Royal Enfield has launched new Classic 350 in September this year.
