Renault India Sales Cross 8 Lakh Models

Renault entered India in 2005 and since then it has sold over 8 lakh models, all thanks to the Kwid, Triber & Kiger

The French auto major Renault has achieved a new milestone in India. Renault India sales now have crossed 8 lakh models in the Indian market. The company starts its India operation in 2005. In its 15 years of presence in India Renault launched many models. At present the company portfolio constitutes the Kwid, Kiger, Triber and Duster. The Kwid is the cheapest offering here while the Duster is the most expensive one. The Kwid is also one of the most popular models in the Renault India line-up.

Renault India 8 Lakh Sales

When Renault launched the Kwid in 2015, it was a huge success. In November last year, the Kwid achieved a 4 Lakh sales milestone. Renault Introduced the Triber in August 2019. The Triber sales too are close to touch 1 lakh mark. The latest offering from the Renault is the Kiger compact SUV. In February, 2021 Renault launched the Kiger compact SUV in India. The Kiger shares its platform with the Magnite. According to Renault, the Kiger compact SUV is selling in good numbers.

Renault India Expansion

In last 2 years, Renault added 150 new dealerships to cater more customers. At present, Renault has 530 sales and service touchpoints. The company also offers Workshop On Wheels (WOW) workshop. The WOW workshop numbers stands at over 250. Last year Renault launched VISTAAR campaign to target rural India. In this campaign the company has trained over 650 sales consultant to cater its rural customers. Renault India also partnered with CSC Grameen eStore to make its vehicle available to more customers. The company also has its full fledged Hindi website and Renault is the first 4-wheeler brand to launch a bi-lingual website.
