Ola Setting Up Hyperchargers With Aim Of 4,000+ By 2022

After getting excellent response for Ola S1 scooter the Ola Electric has started to set up its Hypercharger network in the country

Ola Electric has partnered with BPCL to install its Hyperchargers network in the country. The installation of Hyperchargers has begun and will be operational in 6-8 weeks. Ola Electric CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal has shared the first images of Ola Hyperchargers. This Hypercharger network will help Ola S1 scooter owners to charge their scooter in very short spam of time.

The customers can use Ola Hyperchargers for free till end of June 2022. After that, Ola Electric will charge for every single use of their Hyperchargers. Details about the payment charges of using Hyperchargers is still awaited.

The company has announced to setup 100,000 Hyperchargers in 400 Indian cities. By the end of 2022 itself, Ola Electric has aimed for 4,000+ Hyperchargers. These Hyperchargers can charge Ola S1 Pro from 0 to 50% in very short time of just 18 minutes. In 18 minutes, customers will get 75 kms of driving range.

Apart from the Hypercharger, Ola Electric also provides home-charging socket as standard with its Ola S1 electric scooter. One simply needs to drive at the Hypercharger point and plug the electric scooter to it. The availability of Hyperchargers as well as payment can be monitored on the Ola Electric app.

The website of Ola Electric provides Hyperchargers location plan for each cities. The Hypercharger network of Ola Electric would cover most of Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities.
