Ola electric has started delivering it’s S1 scooter from December 15 onwards. In Bengaluru and Chennai Ola electric has set the venue for delivery. Ola electric CEO Bhavish Aggarwal was also present at this big moment. The company has been under pressure for delivery of S1 scooter. With orderbook of 5 lakh models the production line of Ola electric is in full swing.

Missing Features In Ola S1 scooter
Features like cruise control, mobile app, bluetooth, hill hold and voice command were yet to be enabled on Ola S1 scooter. Ola electric said it would take another month to do so by over-the-air software updates. The company has already pushed delivery date twice so further delay for these features could led to cancellation of bookings. Ola S1 promises most features in it’s segment but it will take another month for customers to try it. Right now company’s focus is only on delivery of scooters.

Ola electric will deliver S1 scooters directly to customer’s doorstep. This is slightly different approach as compared to conventional method. Company has completed 2 lakh test drives through it test ride centres in different cities.

The test rides of Ola scooters has commenced in November. Launch took place in August. The Bengaluru based mobility firm has launched S1 & S1 Pro at Rs. 99,999 & Rs. 1,29,999 respectively
