Maruti Suzuki CNG Models Bookings
The Ertiga CNG commands the highest demand with 60,000 bookings so far. This accounts to 50 percent of all 120,000 bookings made for CNG models.
Wagon R CNG is also very popular with total bookings of 36,000 models. This translates to 30 percent of overall bookings.
The rest 20 percent bookings were made for Alto, S-Presso, Eeco as well as fleet focused Super Carry, Tour M & Tour S models.
Undoubtedly, with this data it can be said that Maruti Suzuki rules the CNG car market. The company offers total 11 models with CNG. Alto, Celerio, S-Presso, Wagon R, Ertiga, Dzire and Eeco constitutes 110,459 model sales in first 8 months of 2022. This year total sales of Maruti Suzuki CNG models were at 136,357 models.
Maruti Suzuki has set a target of 250,000 CNG models sales in FY2022. In FY2021 total sales of CNG models stood at 157,954 models for Maruti Suzuki.
