Mahindra Starts The Delivery Of XUV700 AWD Variant

Mahindra has started the deliveries of the XUV700 AWD variant, it starts at Rs 21.49 lakh

Mahindra started the delivery of the XUV700 on 30 October, 2021. But the deliveries of the XUV700 AWD variant was still pending. Now, the company has also started delivering the AWD variants. Recently, Mahindra delivered the first AWD model of the XUV700 in Gujarat. The owner posted a video on YouTube regarding the delivery of the XUV700 AWD. All thanks to Journey On Wheels for giving us update about the delivery of the AWD variants of the XUV700.

Mahindra XUV700 AWD

The All Wheel Drive (AWD) option is available on the AX7 and the AX7 with Luxury Pack variant of the XUV700. Only 7-seater diesel AT trim is available with an AWD option. This is the top variant available on the SUV. Mahindra offers a 2.2-Litre mHawk diesel engine on the AX7 variant. This diesel engine packs 182 BHP and 450 Nm. As the name suggest it gets a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The XUV700 AX7 Diesel AT starts at Rs 20.19 lakh (ex-showroom). For the AWD variants the price is Rs 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom) which goes upto Rs 21.89 lakh (ex-showroom) with the Luxury Pack. As it is the top variant so it comes loaded with all the features.

Mahindra launched the XUV700 in August last year while bookings commenced from 7 October. The XUV700 got an amazing response with all 25,000 models booked in a hour. This led to a huge waiting period the SUV. Currently, the XUV700 waiting period is upto 75 weeks or 18 months.

Mahindra XUV700 Captain Seats

The XUV700 may soon get a variant with captain seats. On the AdrenoX app, the XUV700 was seen with captain seats in the second row. Currently, the XUV700 is only available in 5 and 7-seater variants.
