Hyundai Verna Scores 0 Star Safety Rating In Latin NCAP

Hyundai Verna also known as Accent gets 0 star in Latin NCAP safety rating

Latin NCAP has released the safety rating of new Hyundai Accent. The car gets very poor zero star safety rating in crash test by Latin NCAP. Hyundai Accent is essentially a Hyundai Verna which sells in Latin America. Hyundai exports Verna in the form of new Accent in Latin America as CBU.

Hyundai Verna gets 9.23% in adult occupant safety and 12.68% in child occupant safety. Scores of safety were very poor for Verna but the bodyshell area were rated as stable. Crash tested model comes with only one airbag. Latin NCAP has said that the model with two airbags would have scored better safety ratings.

Customers Willing To Pay More For Safer Cars

A new survey named ‘Indian Consumers’ Safety Behaviour and Perception of Vehicle Security’ has found something really interesting. According to survey Indian customers are willing to pay more for safer cars. Over 2,70,000 customers across the country submitted their response in the survey.
