Honda has released its sales report of November 2021. In the report, Honda X-Blade bike sales were at 0 models. Last year in November, the sales of X-Blade were at good 2,591 models. The bike wasn’t able to find any customer last month.
Honda X-Blade Zero Sales
With 160cc X-Blade, Honda targeted youngsters and millennials. The bike offers sharp styling for increased visual appeal. The Honda X-Blade shares its platform with discontinued CB Hornet 160R. It gets same 162.7cc air-cooled engine but with 13.9 bhp of power and 13.9 bhp of torque.
In the 160cc segment there are rivals like Apache 160, Xtreme 160R, Pulsar 160NS and Suzuki Gixxer. All these bike offers much value for money than Honda X-Blade. The X-Blade also have one of the least powerful engines in its segment.
With a base price of around 1.10 Lakh (ex-showroom), The Honda X-Blade is slightly expensive for what it offers. After the BS6 update in 2020, Honda X-Blade prices increased by over Rs 17,000. This made rivals to undercut X-Blade in price as well as engine and features.
