Facebook In Stream Ads Eligibility Requirements

Check your Page’s eligibility in Creator Studio to see if you may utilise in-stream advertisements in your videos. Pages that upload videos in specific languages and countries are also eligible for in-stream advertisements. Go here to see a list of countries and languages that are available.

Basic Requirements

  • Facebook’s Partner Monetization Policies must be passed and followed.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to participate.
  • You must reside in a country that allows in-stream advertising.

Eligibility Requirements

  1. 10,000 followers
  2. In the last 60 days, 600,000 total minutes have been viewed. This can contain videos that are on-demand, live, or have previously been live. Minutes viewed from crossposted, boosted, or compensated watch time are not included.
  3. There are at least five current videos on this page. Videos can be on-demand or formerly live, but active crossposted videos are not included.

Additional requirements for live videos

  1. Minutes viewed from live videos must account for at least 60,000 of the 600,000 total minutes viewed in the previous 60 days.
  2. You have at least five active videos on your page, including at least three previously live videos. This does not include videos that are currently being crossposted.

How to check Facebook monetisation eligibility

  1. Go to the Creator Studio website.
  2. To check the status of your Page’s monetisation, go to Monetisation > Policy problems on the left-hand menu.

How to check Facebook eligibility and onboard to in-stream ads

Follow these steps to onboard to in-stream advertisements once you’ve met the qualifying conditions above:

  1. Go to the Creator Studio website.
  2. To check the status of your Page’s in-stream adverts, go to Monetisation on the left-hand side of the menu.
  3. Set up if you’re eligible.
  4. Choose a page to work on.
  5. After reading over the terms and conditions, click Agree to Terms.
  6. Create a payment account.
  7. Fill out the form below to submit your page for review.

Your Page will be reviewed by Facebook to make sure it complies with our Partner Monetisation Policies and in-stream ad requirements. You will be alerted via email and on Creator Studio when the review process is complete.
