Destiny, Nas’ daughter, is recognised as an Executive Producer on Stillmatic, which means she will always be paid royalties.
On his fifth studio album Stillmatic, Nas designated his then-7-year-old daughter Destiny Jones as an Executive Producer so she could always get royalty payments from the album.
Stillmatic, Nas’ debut album, was released on December 18th, 2001, and sold over 342,600 copies in its first week.
The album reached No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart in the United States.
On the back of Stillmatic’s CD, Destiny Jones is credited as an Executive Producer in the bottom right corner.
