Chicago: Man charged for allegedly opening plane’s emergency exit and sliding down the wing at Chicago airport

CHICAGO: According to CBS Chicago, a California man was arrested on Thursday after reportedly sliding down the wing of a jet that had just landed at a Chicago airport.

According to Chicago police, Randy Frank Davila, 57, has been charged with reckless behaviour.

According to the Chicago Police Department, Davila exited the plane at 4:37 a.m. on Thursday before walking onto the plane’s wing and jumping onto the airfield.

He was hauled into jail “without incident” and charged with the misdemeanour, according to police. On June 27, he will appear in court.
