Bajaj Pulsar 150 Continues To Be India’s Best Selling 150cc Bike

Bajaj Pulsar 150 is the India’s best selling 150cc bike in December, 2021 beating TVS Apache, Yamaha FZ and other rivals

When Bajaj launched the Pulsar brand in 2001 it took the market by storm. Everyone wanted to own one as the Pulsar offers powerful performance in a budget. Now it’s the year 2022 and the Pulsar brand is still relevant. In December 2021, the Pulsar 150 has topped the sales chart among India’s best selling 150cc bikes. The Pulsar 150 has so many rivals in the market. This includes the Apache, MT15 as well as FZ. Even while facing stiff competition from the rivals the Pulsar 150 managed to stay ahead. Bajaj has given a consistent update to the bike that is limited to cosmetics only.

Bajaj Pulsar 150 Sales

In December 2021, Bajaj Auto recorded a total sales of 27,169 models for the Pulsar 150. During same period in 2020, the Pulsar 150 sales were at 19,958 models. This makes a growth of 36 percent YoY. Most of the sales from Bajaj comes from the Pulsar brand. Unlike rivals, the Pulsar 150 gets the same analogue cluster but still leads the sales chart with powerful performance that it offers. TVS Apache series is the biggest rival of the Pulsar series. In December 2021, total sales of the Apache series stood at 23,533 models. A decline of 11 percent as compared to 26,535 a year before. Yamaha FZ sales were at good 19,790 models in December 2021 with massive 40 percent growth YoY.

Pulsar 150 colours

Bajaj Offers the Pulsar 150 in four colours namely Sparkle Black Red, Sapphire Blue, Sparkle Black Blue and Silver. The 150cc engine on the Pulsar 150 packs 14 PS and 13.25 Nm. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Bajaj offers 15 Litres fuel tank on the Pulsar 150. The bike also gets disc brakes on both wheels with ABS technology. Wheel size on the Pulsar 150 is 17-inches and tyres are tubeless. The Bajaj Pulsar 150 starts at Rs 1.01 lakh and goes upto Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom).
