Tata Motors is all set to give petrol engine to Harrier and Safari SUV. Both Harrier and Safari are the flagship products from the brand. 2022 Tata Safari and Harrier Petrol
Looking at the latest images it doesn’t seems that there will be major changes. We expect that there will be only petrol engine change under the hood. Tata Safari and Harrier only gets 2.0-Litre petrol engine. This engine is sourced from Fiat and same powers Jeep Compass and MG Hector in the segment.
Almost all the rivals of Tata Harrier and Safari gets a petrol engine. This is where Harrier and Safari misses out on many potential customers who are looking to buy petrol powered SUV. Tata Motors could offer 1.5-Litre turbo petrol engine on both 2022 Tata Harrier and Safari. This 1.5-Litre turbo petrol engine is likely to produce 150 BHP of power and 250 Nm of torque.
