2022 MG ZS EV Revealed Ahead Of Launch This Month

2022 MG ZS EV will get the Astor inspired looks and more features, range as compared to the current model

The first images of the new MG ZS EV are out. MG Motor India has officially shared these new images. The electric SUV got a new look similar to the Astor. The new ZS EV will be available by the end of the month, according to the automaker. The MG ZS EV rivals the Tata Nexon EV and Hyundai Kona EV in its segment.

2022 MG ZS EV Changes

The revised design for the blanked-out front grille is now body-colored and has a new textured pattern. This is the most visible alteration on the 2022 MG ZS EV. The charging port has been moved to the left of the MG logo as well. Aside from that, the LED headlights and taillights are now identical to those available on the Astor. The front and rear bumpers and the 17-inch alloy wheels are also new. This gives the ZS EV a more contemporary look.The interior improvements are being kept under wraps. The revised ZS EV, should come with a new infotainment system, new upholstery, a wireless charger, and a digital driver’s display.

2022 MG ZS EV Range & Battery

The 51kWh and 72kWh battery packs are available on the new MG ZS EV globally. The India-spec model may include the former which will offer more range. At present, the MG ZS EV offers a range of 419km. The MG ZS EV is currently powered by a 44.5kWh lithium-ion battery with 141bhp and 353Nm torque. The 2022 MG ZS EV could cost between Rs 40,000 and Rs 50,000 more than the present model. Current price of the MG ZS EV stands at Rs 21.49 lakh to Rs 25.18 lakh (ex-showroom).
