2022 Maruti Baleno To Launch On 10 February

New 2022 Maruti Baleno is all set to launch on 10 February to rival the Tata Altroz and Hyundai i20 premium hatchback

Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to launch the new 2022 Baleno. Company has already commenced the production in its Gujarat plant. On 24th January, 2022 Maruti dispatched the first model of the new Baleno. On 10 February, 2022 the new Baleno will make its way to the market. Maruti Suzuki will start accepting bookings from 1 February. Customers can book the new Baleno online or at Nexa dealerships. Maruti Suzuki is yet to announce official bookings for the premium hatchback.

2022 Maruti Baleno Updates

Maruti has updated the exterior as well as interior of the car. New Baleno exterior gets a newly designed headlamps and LED DRLs. However it does remind of current Baleno by certain angles. Maruti has given the smiley look on the front of the new Baleno. At the rear, the car gets L shaped tail lights. These lights extend to tailgate and the bumper of the car.

Just like the exterior, the new Baleno will get new interior too. The new Baleno will get bigger touchscreen as compared to what we see on the current model. It will support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as well. In latest update, Maruti will offer wireless charging too on the car. We may see Heads Up Display (HUD) unit on the car as well.

New Baleno Safety & Engine

There’s always a question for safety on Maruti products. In the new Baleno, Maruti will offer six airbags. An option of six airbags will be only available on top models. For optimal safety, Maruti has used stronger steel on the new Baleno. Current safety rating of the Baleno is zero star in Latin NCAP.

While the new Baleno gets lot of exterior & interior updates, this doesn’t go same for the engine. Maruti will offer same 1.2-Litre petrol engine on the new Baleno. This engine puts out 83 BHP and 90 BHP with 12V mild-hybrid technology. With new update, the Baleno will rival the Tata Altroz and Hyundai i20 in its segment.
