2022 Mahindra Bolero To Get Dual Airbags As Standard

With dual airbags, the 2022 Mahindra Bolero will get dual-tone colour options as well

Mahindra has given the Bolero SUV a consistent update throughout the years. The SUV was last updated in March, 2021 with facelift model. In 2022 to, Mahindra has planned an update for its best selling model. This year the Bolero SUV will get an update of dual airbags. The dual airbags will be standard across all variants of the SUV. So the 2022 Bolero will get driver as well as passenger airbags.

2022 Mahindra Bolero

Government of India has mandated dual airbags as standard on all new cars from April, 2021. Existing vehicles would require to follow the same from January, 2022. So adhering to the rules, Mahindra will update the Bolero with dual airbags as standard across all variants. This will make the Bolero SUV a more safe option in its segment.

The new Bolero will also get minor cosmetic changes. Mahindra offers three monotone colours on the SUV. These three colours are White, Silver and Brown. Apart from these, 2022 Bolero will get dual-tone colours. The dual-tone Bolero got spied few months back. The SUV got grey coloured bumpers with red paintwork on it. The 2022 Bolero will be more appealing in new dual-tone colours.

2022 Mahindra Bolero Engine

There will be no changes in the engine department. The 2022 Bolero will continue to be powered by 1.5-Litre diesel engine. This engine packs 75 BHP and 210 Nm. 5-speed manual gearbox will also be carried out. The SUV doesn’t get four-wheel drive system. With the engine, all other features in the 2022 Bolero will also be the same.

The Mahindra Bolero is widely popular in the rural areas due to its tough nature. First launched in the year 2000, the Bolero is carrying the Mahindra legacy for more than two decades. With the Bolero, Mahindra is also gearing up to introduce new Scorpio this year.
