BMW is gearing up to launch the new BMW X5 M SUV. The range-topping X5 M model is on test at present. Recently the 2022 BMW X5 M got spied on public roads of Germany. The SUV will get sharper headlights, a new grille and a redesigned bumper. In latest spy shots, the SUV got camouflage on the front and rear end which also indicates the same. Rest of the body remain undisguised as it will get zero changes. The roof spoilers of the X5 also appears to be remain unchanged. BMW will not produce the X5 M until April next year. So the company has plenty of time to make final changes on the car.
Latest spy shots of the 2022 X5 M didn’t cover the interiors. What’s inside of the SUV still is a secret. BMW may offer its latest iDrive 8 infotainment system on the new X5 M. The SUV’s dashboard will get a dual-screen setup with a bigger display for the cluster. Similar to what we see on the new BMW 8 Series range. With new updates BMW may offer new colours and customization on the new X5 M.
2022 BMW X5 M Engine
The new BMW X5 M likely won’t undergo any changes in the engine department. BMW offers the X5 with 4.4-litre V8 engine overseas. In India the X5 is available with 3.0-litre V6 petrol and diesel engine. The petrol engine puts out 340 PS and 450 Nm while the diesel engine packs 265 PS and 620 Nm. An 8-speed automatic gearbox is available on both the engines. The BMW X5 M starts at Rs 73 lakh and goes upto Rs 83 lakh (ex-showroom). It rivals the Audi Q7, Mercedes GLE and Range Rover Velar in its segment.
